Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) I'm indebted to Mr. Pongle - misterpongle.bandcamp.com - for pointing me to the unsung hero William D. Drake, former member of the "Cardiacs", who appears to bear the responsibility of creating Cardiacs-like music on his sholders by now, after Tim Smith dropping out of the business for health reasons. Well done, Mr. Drake! Please continue like that for a long long time! We need you desperately! Favorite track: Song In The Key Of Concrete.

Eric Benac More gorgeous and complex pop from ex-Cardiacs William D. Drake. Though his voice is not strong, it is memorable and his songs range through a diversity of moods, lyrical concepts, and melodies that is impressive.

I'm so glad that his major talent has seen expression in this century. One wishes he was pumping albums out like this since 1993, but it's better late than never. Favorite track: The Rising Of The Lights.

Dan Sumption Beautiful pop music from a world slightly different from this one, channelling unmistakably English folklore sensibilities via a Victorian parlour piano playing pastoral prog. Favorite track: Super Altar.
